verify your batch
Every pen has a batch behind it, and every batch has a certificate of analysis. Verification is the act of tying the two together — confirming the lab report actually describes the pen in your hand.
find your batch number
The batch / lot number is printed on the pen and its packaging. It's the single most important field for verification: a certificate of analysis is only meaningful for the exact lot it was issued against. Note it before you do anything else.
request the certificate for that lot
Send us the batch number and we'll return the batch-specific COA for it — the report from Asterion Analytics for that production run, not a generic sample document. If your order email didn't include it, contact us with the lot number and we'll send it.
check it, field by field
- Does the lot number on the COA match your pen?
- Does identity conform (LC-MS)?
- Is HPLC purity at or above spec (≥ 98.0%)?
- Is peptide content within range (95–105%) — i.e. not underdosed?
- Are the safety results (water, heavy metals, endotoxin) inside their limits?
- Is the certificate current (before its retest date)?

how we verify, before you do
Verification isn't only on you. Every batch is checked twice: independently by Asterion Analytics, and again by our own internal testing before the batch is released. The COA you verify is the independent leg of that process — see the wider testing overview.
red flags
Treat these as reasons to stop: no batch number, no lab named, a purity claim with no chromatogram, or a certificate that can't be matched to your specific lot. A COA that doesn't tie to your pen verifies nothing.
