storage & stability

A peptide is only as good as the condition it arrives in. Here's why the cold chain matters, how we ship, and how to store a research pen once it reaches the bench.

why the cold chain matters

Peptides are delicate molecules. Heat, light and moisture drive degradation — the chains break down, and a degraded sample no longer matches the identity and purity on its certificate of analysis. Keeping a compound cold and dark from manufacture to bench is what protects the result you paid to verify.

how we ship

Every order leaves under documented cold-chain conditions — insulated packaging with coolant, so the pen stays within its storage window in transit across the EU, UK and South Africa. The pens themselves are pre-filled, so there's no powder to reconstitute and no window where an unstable solution sits at room temperature on your side.

storing a pen on arrival

  • Refrigerate the pen on arrival — cold, per the storage line on the product's COA.
  • Keep it dark and dry — protected from light and moisture.
  • Don't freeze a pre-filled solution unless the COA specifically allows it.
  • Note the retest / expiry date on the certificate — it tells you how current the verified result is.

what degradation looks like

A solution that has been mishandled may show cloudiness, particulates or discolouration where the COA describes a clear, colourless solution. Appearance is the first, coarse check; it doesn't replace the lab data, but a visible change is a reason to stop and re-verify against the certificate of analysis.

research use only

Storage guidance is quality preservation, not usage guidance. Veyvora compounds are supplied for laboratory research use only — not medicines, and not for human or veterinary consumption.
