This range covers two distinct research approaches to the growth-hormone (GH) axis. The first uses secretagogues — compounds that prompt the body’s own pituitary to release GH. The second uses recombinant GH itself. Both are studied in growth, body-composition and recovery models, but they act at very different points in the pathway.

secretagogue vs exogenous GH — the axis of comparison
- GHRH analogues — mimic growth-hormone-releasing hormone to stimulate endogenous, pulsatile GH release. Tesamorelin and the CJC-1295 component of the blend below sit here.
- GH-releasing peptides (GHRPs / ghrelin mimetics) — act on a separate receptor to amplify release; ipamorelin is the selective example.
- Recombinant GH — Somatropin supplies GH directly rather than stimulating its release.
